Collection of access data

The delivery and presentation of the content via our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are recorded by us or the provider of the web space. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you and your person. The corresponding information consists of the Name of the website, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you switched to our site, as well as the corresponding IP address . We use this data to display and deliver our content and for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and constant improvement of our offer. We also reserve the right to check the mentioned data retrospectively if there is any suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

Collection of application data

The system saves the personal data that an applicant provides via our application portal (operated by Softgarden) for a maximum of 6 months. The completion of the application process is decisive for the beginning of the storage period. If the applicant is asked to take part in online test procedures on the Hogrefe platform in the further course of the process, the same rule applies here for the storage of the data – Surname, first name, email address, gender, date of birth (a maximum of 6 months from the completion of the application process). Applications that reach us by e-mail are forwarded directly to our application portal (see above). The applicant’s e-mail and all attachments are deleted immediately, which means that no personal data of applicants exist or remain in our systems. Below you will find links to Softgarden and Hogrefe’s data protection regulations:

Third Party Content and Services

The offer on our website may also include content, services and performances from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or third-party graphics. Calling up these services from third parties regularly requires your IP address to be transmitted. This enables these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to save it. We try very hard to only include third-party providers who use IP addresses solely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on which third party provider may save the IP address. This storage can, for example, serve statistical purposes. If we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers, we will inform our users of this fact immediately. In this context, please also note the special data protection declarations for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website.

You can also find them in this data protection declaration.

Conversion statistics for AdWords customers are created with the data obtained through conversion cookies. During this process, we do not receive any information with which we could personally identify you as a user. If you reject the tracking process, the Google conversion tracking cookie can be deactivated via your internet browser. If necessary, use the help function of the browser for further information.
